The Clearingstelle EEG|KWKG answers questions regarding the application of renewable energy laws and resolves legal disputes in this area. We implemented Ecologic’s redesign of the website and simplified and rebuilt the database search functionality.
A particular challenge was that we updated the system while it was still live. To do this, we used Drupal’s Workspace functionality, which allowed us to revise the site’s content and then publish it once the new front end was complete.
We redesigned the search function in collaboration with the client, consolidating numerous specialized search options into a single, user-friendly combined search. A particular challenge was integrating the text search field, SOLR settings, and dependent filters—some of which only appear when a specific combination of filters is selected.
